4-Link 4X4 Front Air Suspension (Part # 10006664)

A heavy-duty truck like a Silverado 4500/5500/6500 has many advantages over a light-duty truck, but the ride quality is NOT one of them. That can be changed easily enough with a Kelderman 4-Link Front Air Suspension System. This industrial-strength air suspension setup greatly improves ride comfort, decreases shock & fatigue, and will improve the overall look of the truck, giving it a more leveled appearance on the front end with an approximate 1″ lift at ride height.

Our 4-Link Front Air Suspension System comes with everything you need to eliminate the existing front leaf spring suspension on the truck. Our kit will include a dual steering stabilizer assembly, steering stabilizer shocks, new custom-valved 2.0 remote reservoir shocks, shock clamps, a heavy-duty front sway bar assembly with bushings and sway bar end links, heavy-duty airbags, mounting brackets, hardware, air line, fittings, etc.

4-Link 4X4 Rear Air Suspension:

Part # 10006311, GL4 Axle – (4-1/4” x 4 3/8” Sq.)

Part # 10008314, J27 Axle – (4-7/8” x 5-1/2” Sq)

This kit features a four-airbag design (two per side) to provide a better all-around suspension system for your work truck. Air suspension can provide you with softer ride quality and you will no longer experience the harsh rebound of a stiff leaf spring suspension. Our kit also comes with four adjustable trailing arms to allow you to center your rear axle properly within a service body, truck box, etc. These will keep the rear end in place along with an adjustable panhard bar setup that prevents side-to-side movement when going down the road. In addition to the components, the kit will include trailing arm mounts, upper and lower air bag mounting plates, rear cross member, rear sway bar, sway bar end links, axle clamps, air line, fittings, and Schrader valve inflators. This will allow you to add air to the suspension ‘manually’ like you would a truck tire. Self-leveling air control packages are available to provide your truck with an onboard air compressor, air tank, height control valves, dump valves, air dryer, and in-cab controls to allow the rear suspension to automatically adjust to weight as needed to maintain the proper ‘ride height’ or lower 3.5-4″ at the push of a button. Finally, give your Silverado the ride quality you deserve with an upgrade to a Kelderman 4-LinK Rear Air Suspension.

Rear Axle Code/Diameter Verification Required (J27 or GL4).

NOTE: The base price includes the 4-Link Front Air Suspension and the 4-Link Rear Air Suspension. Air control systems and other options are add-ons to the suspension packages. Front-only or rear-only air suspension systems are also available.

Optional Air Control Systems:

The base version of these front and rear air suspension systems will be in a ‘manual fill’ package. This provides you with the necessary amount of air line, fittings, and Schrader valves to inflate and deflate the suspension like you would a tire. Several air control systems are available, so let’s go through the possible options.

Mechanical, Self-Leveling Air Control System – Dual Compressor & Tank (Part # 30664 + HCVLK’s):

This is the most common air control system for work truck applications. It includes (2) 100% duty cycle VIAIR air compressors, (2) 3-gallon air tanks, (4) mechanical height control valves, height control valve linkages, (2) dump valves, an air dryer, plus all wiring, fittings, and connections for installation. The air compressors are contained within a weather-resistant enclosure to protect the vital elements of the control system.

An in-cab control panel is provided allowing you to control the ON/OFF power to the air compressor and a dump switch to activate the rear dump valve option. You can also use your factory auxiliary/upfitter switch panel for these two switches in place of the Kelderman control panel. This configuration allows the front and rear suspension to automatically adjust the pressure within the airbags to maintain the designed ‘ride height’ of the suspension. As soon as you hook up to a trailer, the mechanical height control valves move with the suspension’s adjustment and pull air from the onboard air tank to inflate back to the ‘ride height’ position. It will also manually bleed off air pressure when you’re unloading weight, unhooking a trailer, etc. The dump valves are designed for use with the rear air suspension and allow you to flip a switch, deflate the rear suspension down approximately 4″, and pull right out from under your trailers. The onboard air dryer removes moisture from the system periodically to prevent damage to components and remain operational in cold temperatures and climates.  The dual air compressor and tanks configuration provides a quicker recovery time and make sure plenty of air is available for raising & lowering the suspension and any necessary ride height adjustments.

Air Lift 3H Electronic Air Control System (Part # ESLK3H2):

Are you looking for maximum control over your air suspension? In addition to its self-leveling abilities, this electronic air control system allows you to manually adjust the suspension at all four corners. The in-cab remote allows you five preset positions and manual control over the air suspension at all four corners. These dual VIAIR air compressors and dual 3-gallon air tanks produce the air supply necessary to be able to raise & lower the truck at all four corners. The 3H system also provides Bluetooth connectivity and lets you see the in-cab control screen right on your phone. You can wirelessly connect to the suspension and control everything with just the touch of a button, inside or outside of your truck. The in-cab remote or phone app allows you to manually over-inflate the suspension over the designed ‘ride height’ for an approximate 4″ lift. This is helpful in certain situations where you may need additional ground clearance, tire clearance, etc. The system can also deflate the entire suspension to 4″ below the OEM height/stock ‘ride height’ setting for easier entry/exit from the vehicle, more clearance for garages, parking ramps, etc.

With great functionality also comes great reliability. This air control system features a combination of parts that Kelderman has trusted for years for use in a variety of air suspension applications. Military-grade ride height sensors provide feedback to the control system in order to maintain the proper ride height for the correct suspension travel, load leveling, and optimum ride quality. The onboard air dryer removes moisture from the system periodically to prevent damage to components and remain operational in cold temperatures and climates. Like the previous air control options, the 3H system houses the air compressors and a number of electronic components in a weather-resistant enclosure to protect it from road debris, and weather, and to reduce overall noise from the system.

Factory Air Compressor Option:

A great factory option on these trucks is the OEM air compressor system. If your truck has that compressor available then we can certainly help you utilize it for use with our air suspension system. In the drop-down menu, select the option to add the front and rear height control valves, air tank, and rear dump valve kit. This will supply you with the necessary parts to use the existing air source on the truck. The front and rear air suspension will automatically adjust to weight to maintain the ride height setting with the height control valves installed. The rear dump valve kit allows you to deflate the rear suspension approximately 4″ to hook up to your trailers or load items onto the truck more easily.
