2025+ RAM 4500/5500 Chassis Cab 3″ Air Suspension Retrofit

This Kelderman 3″ Lift Kit provides approximately 3″ of lift front and rear on the 2025+ RAM 4500/5500 chassis cab. Engineered specifically for the all-new Winnebago ARKA on the RAM 5500 heavy-duty platform, this system replaces the factory front and rear suspension with Kelderman’s proven air suspension components — delivering a level, adjustable ride height with improved load-carrying capacity and significantly better handling than the factory leaf spring setup. This kit is specifically for a retrofit to an existing Buckstop super-single conversion.

The ARKA kit shares the same 4-Link / Watts Link rear suspension architecture as Kelderman’s Overlander system, providing the full engineering benefit of the Watts Link design in a 3″ lift package.

3″ Front Air Suspension (Part # 10046343)

The ARKA front suspension replaces the factory coil spring with Kelderman’s heavy-duty air suspension system.

4-Link / Watts Link Rear Air Suspension (Part # 10039931)

Kelderman’s rear suspension replaces the factory leaf spring with a fully engineered 4-Link air suspension system incorporating a Watts Link lateral control mechanism. This represents a design upgrade over conventional panhard bar 4-link systems.

Why the Watts Link matters:

A standard leaf spring places the rear suspension roll center low, near the rear axle, leaving a long distance between it and the vehicle’s center of gravity. That distance is what allows body roll in corners. A panhard bar improves lateral control, but moves through an arc, causing the axle to shift slightly side to side through suspension travel.

The Watts Link solves both problems simultaneously:

• Higher roll center — the Watt center link raises the roll center closer to the vehicle center of gravity, significantly reducing body roll. On tall vehicles such as  RV’s, campers, and upfitted trucks, this can make a significant improvement in handling.
• No lateral axle shift. The Watts Link is a true straight-line mechanism. The axle stays perfectly centered through its entire range of travel. Leaf springs allow lateral flex; a panhard bar trades a small arc of lateral movement. The Watt Link has neither.
• Adjustable trailing arms for suspension tuning
• Upgraded rear trailing arm assembly
• Full industrial-strength airbags replace the factory leaf pack
• Custom-valved monotube rear shocks (available separately)
• Suspension lowers approximately 4″ for loading & trailer hook-up

CV Front Driveshaft (JE Reel)

A CV front driveshaft is required for all 2025+ RAM 4500/5500 front lift installations. A JE Reel CV driveshaft with flange is included as part of this kit package.

Air Control Options

The suspension can be ordered with multiple air management options depending on how the truck will be used.

Air Lift ALP4 Electronic Air Control System (PART # 10040870)

For customers wanting maximum control and adjustability, the Air Lift 3H system provides electronic height control from inside or outside the truck.

The system allows the suspension to be raised or lowered from its normal ride height, making it useful for:

• Lowering the truck for easier entry and exit
• Trailer hookup
• Leveling the vehicle on uneven terrain
• Raising the suspension when additional clearance is needed
• Automatically maintaining ride height as vehicle load changes
• Dual VIAIR 444C air compressors
• Dual (3) gallon air tanks
• In-cab remote control
• Digital air pressure readout
• Multiple preset heights available
• Smart-Terrain Automatic Leveling Feature (optional)

Smart Terrain Self-Leveling Feature

Smart Terrain is an optional feature available with the ALP4 electronic air control system. With a single button press, Smart Terrain automatically levels the vehicle chassis using a built-in inclinometer — no manual adjustments, no guessing. The system reads the slope of the ground and independently adjusts each corner of the air suspension until the chassis is level. Designed specifically for camping and RV use, it takes the hassle out of setup on uneven terrain so you can focus on the site, not the truck.

NOTE: Base price includes the Front Air Suspension Kit, Rear Air Suspension Kit, CV Front Driveshaft, and a ‘manual fill’ air control system. This includes air line, fittings, and Schrader valves.

Shocks and air control systems are optional add-ons. Hydraulic Steering Assist or a dual steering stabilizer assembly is sold separately.

Front-only and rear-only kits are also available.
