10-12″ 4-Link Rear Air Suspension:

(Part # KLM22950)

Lifting your truck shouldn’t mean that it has to be any less of a truck. You don’t want to roll around with a stock truck, but you still have trailers that you need to haul. You want to go camping on weekends, boating in the summer, and snowmobiling in the winter. Whatever your hobbies are or whatever trailers you use your truck to pull, make sure the suspension is up to the job. Our Kelderman 10-12″ 4-Link Rear Air Suspension Lift Kit provides the best ride quality and towing available for stock trucks and lifted trucks.

This kit takes your leaf spring suspension and just throws it away. Air suspension is able to provide you with the ride quality and towing that you have always wanted from your lifted truck. Our kit includes trailing arm mounts, adjustable trailing arms, air bags, upper and lower air bag mounting plates, axle clamps, rear crossmember, adjustable panhard bar, upgraded rear sway bar, and sway bar end links. Shock and air control systems are sold separately.

Add one of our self-leveling air control systems to this suspension to make it a fully self-leveling suspension. Our optional SLKD2WD Air Control System will give you an onboard air compressor, tank, height control valves, dump valves, pressure switch, air dryer, fittings, air line, etc. to make your truck’s rear air suspension automatically adjust to weight. Just hook onto your trailer and the mechanical height control valves pull air from the onboard air tank to return the suspension back to its 10-12″ ‘ride height’. Air control packages also allow you to air up a tire in case of emergency or provide air for an onboard air horn setup! The truck can lower to a 6″ lift at the push of a button to help load items in the truck bed or hook up to trailers.

Optional Air Control Systems:

The base version of this air suspension system will be in a ‘manual fill’ package. This provides you with the necessary amount of air line, fittings, and Schrader valves to inflate and deflate the suspension like you would a tire. Several air control systems are available, so let’s go through some popular options.

Mechanical, Self-Leveling Air Control System (Part # SLKD2WD)

This is the most common air control system for any and all of our full air suspension products. It includes a 100% duty cycle VIAIR air compressor, a 3-gallon air tank, two mechanical height control valves, height control valve linkages, (2) dump valves, an air dryer, plus all wiring, fittings, and connections for installation. The air compressor is contained within a weather-resistant enclosure to protect the vital elements of the control system.

An in-cab control panel is provided, allowing you to control the ON/OFF power to the air compressor and a dump switch to activate the rear dump valve option. You can also use your factory auxiliary/upfitter switch panel for these two switches in place of the Kelderman control panel. This configuration allows the suspension to automatically adjust the pressure within the airbags to maintain the designed ‘ride height’ of the suspension. As soon as you hook up to a trailer, the mechanical height control valves move with the suspension’s adjustment and pull air from the onboard air tank to inflate back to the ‘ride height’ position. It will also manually bleed off air pressure when you’re unloading weight, unhooking a trailer, etc. The dump valves are designed for use with the rear air suspension and allow you to flip a switch, deflate the rear suspension down approximately 4″, and pull right out from under your trailer. The onboard air dryer removes moisture from the system periodically to prevent damage to components and remain operational in cold temperatures and climates.

Front air ride suspension lift kits are not available for GM trucks due to IFS design on front setups.
