As a previous owner of a truck featuring Kelderman Air Suspension products, Coy Randle knows what he wants on his ride. For his 2nd Kelderman-equipped truck, a 2023 F-450 Limited, he wanted to take it to Kelderman HQ for the full transformation.

Cool to be Coy

Coy Randle knows what he wants. He uses his F-450 to haul large trailers, heavy equipment, and to just get around in day-to-day life. Like a true Texan, he felt the urge to make his truck bigger, bolder, and better…the Kelderman way. Coy previously had an F-450 with the 5-6” air suspension kit and had the work done with his local dealer. He enjoyed that truck so much that he took his latest truck, a 2023 Ford F-450 Limited, straight to Iowa for a build directly with Kelderman.

This truck is anything but shy. The big F-450 stands out, again, thanks to the 5-6” Air Suspension Lift Kit. Custom-valved 2.0 remote reservoir shocks allow a big truck to ride better than you’d believe in a large dually without sacrificing the towing capabilities. The Air Lift 3H Electronic Air Control System ensures that the air suspension automatically adjusts as soon as Coy hooks up to one of his trailers.

The added height from the air suspension lift kit paves the way for a 22x10 American Force ‘Super Dually’ Contra SD wheels in a black powder coated finish with red and gray painted accents. Finally, 37” Toyo Open Country M/T tires finish off the wheel and tire package for the big Ford.

On the exterior, this truck really jumps off the page. An Alpha Series Front Bumper, Commander Grille Guard, and Delta Series Rear Bumper provide protection for Coy’s new truck, as well as added functionality. The Rigid Industries LED light bars in the bumper and grille guard provide plentiful illumination when off-road. The WARN 16.5K synthetic rope winch makes sure anything that needs to be moved can be pulled safely out of the way. Painted Monster Hook Swivel Hooks, as well as a winch hook and fairlead, continue to dress up the exterior of this Limited. The remainder of the factory Ford parts don’t go untouched as final touches include smoked tail lights, a painted tailgate panel, factory emblems, and more.

There is no shame in standing out in the crowd and with a truck that attracts this much attention, it’s definitely cool to be Coy.

Custom Kelderman Build

Our modular design features a three-piece construction of one center section and two outside bumper ‘wings’ available in multiple widths. This allows you to choose a ‘stock’ version to match up with an OEM fender or a wide version to better line up with an aftermarket flare of the wide fender flares already found on the F-450 and F-550 trucks. The bumper features a winch tray capable of housing a WARN 16,500 lbs. winch. Recessed pockets for swivel hooks provide a safe and capable place for tow straps and recovery gear. Bumpers are compatible with factory parking sensors and the adaptive cruise control option.

An increasingly popular add-on to the Alpha Series Front Bumper, the Commander Grille Guard provides even more protection for your truck. The Commander Guard features optional light bar cutouts and clevis hook mounts, as well.

A combination of popular bumper features brings to life our Delta Series Rear Bumper. Incorporating the recessed pockets for mounting swivel hooks from the Alpha Series line and the corner bumper step from the Bravo Series line creates the all-new Delta Series Rear Bumper option. These bumpers are compatible with factory parking sensors.

This 5-6” Air Suspension Lift Kit is our most popular lift kit for Super Duty trucks. This provides just enough of a lift to give you a great stance, clearance for 37” tires, and still be completely usable as a daily driver, tow vehicle, and more. The full air ride suspension is designed with ride quality and towing capacity in mind, first and foremost. Throw in the available adjustment down to a 1” lift and up to a 9” lift kit and you have the best suspension option on the market for a heavy-duty truck.
