Product Details

This kit gives your RAM 3500 the smooth ride, towing ability, and adjustable height that Kelderman has delivered to the lift kit market for 20+ years. This listing is for a combined front and rear air suspension lift kit. Front-only or rear-only systems are also available. This kit will have a designed ride height of a 10-12″ lift for traveling down the road. It is adjustable down to an approximate 5″ lift when deflated and up to an approximate 17″ lift when fully inflated. 40-42″ tires are recommended.

10-12″ Front Lift Kit

(Part # 10003641, 68RFE Transmission)

(Part # 10005987, AISIN Transmission)

Our 10-12″ Front Air Suspension Lift Kit consists of upper and lower airbag mounting plates, industrial-strength airbags, shock mounts, dual steering stabilizer bracket, front cross-member, adjustable trailing arms, transfer case indexing ring,  track bar drop bracket, adjustable track bar, pitman arm, sway bar drop brackets, extended sway bar end links, and all components necessary for installation. All air suspension systems include a ‘manual fill’ air control package with air line and Schrader valves to inflate the suspension to the designed 10-12″ ‘ride height’.

NOTE: This size of lift kit does require a new extended front driveshaft.

We also recommend a hydraulic steering assist from Precision Steering Components. Hydraulic assist components are not offered through Kelderman.

Rear Air Suspension Kit

(Part # 10005279, Factory Rear Leaf Springs)

(Part # 10005925, Factory Rear Air Suspension)

Your Ram isn’t your only toy, right? You’ve got stuff that you put in the back of this thing and don’t want it to squat under a load. With a Kelderman Air Suspension System, you are able to add additional air pressure to the suspension and level out the truck with the push of a button (air controls required). What’s the point in having a truck that has its headlights pointed at the sky as soon as you hook up to your trailer? Get rid of all your trouble towing with a Kelderman Air Suspension System.

The rear air suspension kit includes upper and lower airbag mounts, industrial-strength airbags, adjustable trailing arms, adjustable panhard bar, panhard bar mount, brake line relocation bracket, shock mounts, upgraded rear sway bar, sway bar end links, sway bar end link mounts. This rear suspension kit will require a new extended rear driveshaft. How the driveshaft is build varies from truck to truck and this is something you or your installer will have to source during the installation process.

NOTE: The base price includes the 10-12″ Front Air Suspension and the 10-12″ 4-Link Rear Air Suspension. Air control systems, shock packages, and other options are add-ons to the lift kit package. Front-only and rear-only air suspension systems are also available.

Optional Air Control Systems:

The base version of these front and rear air suspension systems will be in a ‘manual fill’ package. This provides you with the necessary amount of air line, fittings, and Schrader valves to inflate and deflate the suspension like you would a tire. Several air control systems are available, so let’s go through some popular options.

Air Lift 3H Electronic Air Control System (Part # ESLK3H2)

Are you looking for maximum control over your air suspension? In addition to its self-leveling abilities, this electronic air control system allows you to manually adjust the suspension at all four corners. The in-cab remote has the capability for five preset positions and manual control over the entire suspension system. Dual VIAIR air compressors and dual 3-gallon air tanks provide the air supply necessary to raise & lower the truck. The 3H system also has Bluetooth connectivity and lets you see the in-cab control screen right on your phone. You can wirelessly connect to the truck suspension and control everything with the touch of a button, inside or outside of the truck. Using the remote or app, you can drop the suspension from the 2-3″ ride height setting down to a 1″ below factory height or raise it to a 6″ lift when fully inflated. This makes it easier for you to enter or exit the truck, park in a low-clearance garage, go through your favorite car wash/drive-thru, and make hooking up to your trailers a breeze!

With great functionality also comes great reliability. This air control system features a combination of parts that Kelderman has trusted for years in a variety of air suspension applications. Military-grade ride height sensors provide feedback to the control system to maintain the proper ride height for correct suspension travel, load leveling, and optimum ride quality. The onboard air dryer removes moisture from the system and is operated with its in-cab purge button. Purging moisture from the control system periodically will prevent damage to the components and keep you functioning in cold weather. The 3H Air Control System features a steel compressor box enclosure to house the air compressors and a number of other electronic components in a weather-resistant area to protect it from road debris and weather and to reduce overall noise. This is the most common air control choice for our lift kit applications.

Mechanical, Self-Leveling Air Control System (Part # SLKD2WD + HCVLK’s):

This air control system includes (1) a 100% duty cycle VIAIR air compressor, (1) a 3-gallon air tank, two mechanical height control valves, height control valve linkages, (2) dump valves, an air dryer, plus all wiring, fittings, and connections for installation. The air compressor is contained within a weather-resistant enclosure to protect the vital elements of the control system.

An in-cab control panel is provided allowing you to control the ON/OFF power to the air compressor and a dump switch to activate the rear dump valve option. You can also use your factory auxiliary/upfitter switch panel for these two switches in place of the Kelderman control panel. This configuration allows the front and rear suspension to automatically adjust the pressure within the airbags to maintain the designed ‘ride height’ of the suspension. As soon as you hook up to a trailer, the mechanical height control valves move with the suspension’s adjustment and pull air from the onboard air tank to inflate back to the ‘ride height’ position. It will also manually bleed off air pressure when you’re unloading weight, unhooking a trailer, etc. The dump valves are designed for use with the rear air suspension and allow you to flip a switch, deflate the rear suspension down approximately 4″, and pull right out from under your trailers. The onboard air dryer removes moisture from the system periodically to prevent damage to components and remain operational in cold temperatures and climates.

Mechanical, Self-Leveling Air Control System – Dual Compressor & Tank (Part # 30664 + HCVLK’s):

Want more air for your air suspension? This air control system is identical to the system referenced above but with an additional air compressor and air tank. We tend to see this more with serious work truck applications, fleet use, trucks running at MAX GVWR, or those that plan to regularly raise & lower the rear air suspension. The additional air compressor and tank provide a quicker recovery time and make sure plenty of air is available for raising & lowering the suspension and any necessary ride height adjustments.
