Product Details

Torsion axle suspension on trailers was designed to provide a better ride for your trailer, but there is still room for improvement! We get customers all the time that are looking for a way to keep their trailers from shaking apart when being pulled down the road. Adding a Kelderman Air Suspension to your torsion axle trailer gives you the ride quality that you’ve been searching for. An air suspension system combined with your existing torsion axles reduces the shock and fatigue of not only the trailer and its cargo, but the driver and tow vehicle as well. A Kelderman Air Suspension System will increase the height of the overall trailer by approximately three inches. This will allow the trailer to ride on three inches of pure air suspension cushion and work in conjunction with the torsion axles for unbeatable ride quality. We build our kits EXACTLY to the specifications of your trailer, including axle diameter and axle spacing. Whether you have a small tandem axle setup or a large triple axle application, we can build you an air suspension to ensure your trailer and all it’s contents don’t suffer from a rough trip down the road. The standard kit will include a full air suspension framework and new shocks. The trailer air suspension will also include our ‘manual fill’ air control system with air line and Schrader valves to add air to the suspension manually like you would a truck tire. Additional air control systems are available to best fit your application whether it’s a horse trailer, race car trailer, food concessions trailer…WHATEVER! We have seen great results with these systems and have customers report that they leave cans on top of toolboxes inside the trailers and they stay put for trips. This is the perfect upgrade to a trailer if you’re tired of damaging your equipment from towing. Let us build your trailer air suspension today!
