Factory leaf springs were designed with carrying heavy loads as their primary function. With the addition of a Kelderman 2-Stage Rear Air Suspension, the bumps are absorbed by the air suspension rather than the stiff factory leaf springs. Our suspension provides 3-4″ of additional travel that the chassis did not have before resulting in a smoother ride.
