Select Off Road has been building custom trucks in West Texas for a long time. When they build a SEMA truck for a customer, there is always a #1 choice for suspension: Kelderman. This build involved a new Ford F-450 Pickup that needed to be comfortable for daily driving, but still capable of towing what the F-450 could from the factory (or more).
A logical choice was the Kelderman 4-6" Air Suspension Lift Kit. This design eliminated the rear leaf springs and gave the truck a durable, 4-Link air suspension that not only improved the ride quality of the truck, but increased it's towing capabilities. Even trucks built for the show circuit are put to work eventually and the crew at S.O.R. made sure this Super Duty can work as good as it looks.
The front suspension was also eliminated in favor of the 4-6" lift kit so the truck had proper clearance all the way around for a quality set of 22" American Force wheels and 35" tires. An electronic, self-leveling air control system also makes it easy for people to climb in and out of the tough Powerstroke as it lowers down to approximately a 1" lift at the push of a button. With the truck on full air suspension, it can easily return to the 4-6" 'ride height' or up to a 9" lift when fully inflated.
The SEMA Show showcases the best products from all kinds of aftermarket parts manufacturers, so trucks need more than a lift kit and upgraded wheels. Fox remote reservoir shocks keep the suspension properly in tune while a Royalty Core grille dresses up the front end with custom lights from Plain an Simply by Design & Rigid Industries. Select Off Road junked the factory exhaust to upgrade with a polished Magnaflow setup that left the truck with custom upgrades from front to back.
