Installation Technician

Kelderman is looking for an installation technician to join our team. This candidate will have excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, and be able to work in a team setting. They will need to be an expert in using the appropriate tools. They will need to be able to start and finish project installation promptly and meet all expectations. The hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Expect some overtime. Pay depends on experience.

  • Removing factory components.
  • Installing aftermarket components.
  • Making sure to install all products correctly and without damage.
  • Keeping a clean work environment. Daily housekeeping duties.
  • Answering installation questions for customers.
  • Being responsible for time management to meet deadlines.

  • 18+ years old.
  • Must have own tools and willingness to purchase tools as needed.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Two years of experience in a relatable job is preferred.
  • Work well with a team.
  • Be flexible with projects per customer’s request.
  • Pass a post-offer physical and drug test.
  • Take tech calls when needed.
  • Knowledge of 12-volt electrical is required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Welding experience is preferred but not required.
  • Fork truck experience is preferred.

  • High school or equivalent.
  • One year of customer service is preferred.
  • Mechanical or maintenance experience of two years.
  • Welding experience is helpful.
