Being handed the keys to a brand new 2012 Ram 2500 Mega Cab Laramie Limited isn't something that is uncommon for the Kelderman crew. However, the way Aaron Elmore's Ram looks now is far from your common Ram. Aaron entrusted his new Cummins to the crew at Kelderman and soon the Ram was undergoing a full build. Going with a 8-10" 4-Link Rear Air Suspension on the front and rear, the Ram was completely gutted of leaf springs and coil springs and sat totally on the adjustable air suspension. Large, industrial size air bags give the Ram the carrying capacity it needs without the harsh ride associated with a lifted truck, or even the stock Mega Cab truck.
Aaron knew the Laramie Limited trim already gave him a nice looking truck, but he wanted to finish it off with a few touches that brought out the simplicity of the truck's black and chrome appearance. The crew at Kelderman sat the Ram on a set of 20" Fuel D260 Two Piece Mavericks in a Chrome/Gloss Black finish while 40x15.50R20 Toyo Open Country M/T tires accomplish the proper wheel to tire ratio that Aaron was looking for. A final chrome touch was added to the suspension with chrome remote reservoir shocks from Sway-A-Way.
While the truck can go from it's 8-10" ride height up to a massive 14" lift and down to a 4" lift with just the touch of a button, Amp Research PowerSteps swing out when opening the door to provide an easy entrance into the truck. The finished product is a clean, simple looking Ram that rides like a dream and ended up just the way Aaron wanted.
