Phil Miklo, an Iowa marina owner, knew it exactly what he wanted for a new truck with his 2013 Denali Duramax. After using Kelderman products on various trucks in the Miklo family over the years, Phil saw the perfect opportunity to do a Kelderman lift with his latest addition to his garage. A Kelderman 6-8" 4-Link Rear Air Suspension lift was paired with a 7" Cognito non-torsion bar drop lift to get the Duramax above the crowds. Controlled by the SLKD2WD control package, Phil's truck rides solely on air suspension in the rear which was the perfect solution for regularly towing boats for his business. A Viair 444C compressor fills the air suspension quickly while air is stored in a 3 gallon tank as part of the SLKD2WD. Mechanical height control valves adjust the system when necessary to keep this GMC floating on air no matter sort of trailer is behind it.
The lift kits make room for black 22" XD Bomb wheels by KMC wheels with 325/50/R22" Toyo Open Country ATII tires that add a great contrast to this white truck. More black can be found on the Recon Smoked Projector Headlights, as well as the smoked tail lights and 3rd brake light. This Duramax is one of the last trucks that utilizes the H&S Mini Maxx Race tuner and a full DPF delete exhaust system from MBRP exhaust in a black finish. Phil is able to get in and out of the truck with ease thanks to a set of PowerSteps from Amp Research that extend down several inches for him to climb in and neatly tuck under the truck when the door is closed. WIth the help of the crew at Kelderman, Phil now has one of the baddest boat haulers around.
